Laughing Giraffe Therapy is currently looking to add an additional, full- or part-time occupational therapist to our team. This position offers opportunities to work with children and young adults in both school and clinic settings.

Laughing Giraffe Therapy is a pediatric sensory integration clinic. We focus on working with individuals with a variety of neurological diagnoses including Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder and ADD/ADHD. Our therapists have a wide range of training and approaches, including traditional Sensory Integration, DIR/Floortime, Integrated Listening System, Porges' Safe and Sound Protocol, Juila Harper's HOPE Protocols, Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration, Rhythmic Movement Training, Brain Gym, Bal-A-Vis-X, SOS Approach to Feeding, Astronaut Training, HANDLE Approach, Brazelton Touchpoints Approach, Wilbarger Therapressure Protocol, and Therapeutic Yoga.

Requirements:

• 2 years experience providing occupational therapy to children is preferred, but we are willing to mentor a therapist with less experience who shows exceptional skills and fits well with our therapy model.

• We are a relationship-based clinic. Playfulness and ability to connect and engage is a must.

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Master’s program.

• Current California state licensure.
