Job Description :

We are seeking a PHP Developer / Drupal Developer to work alongside our experienced team to perform system analysis, selection, and configuration of third-party applications, and to develop and maintain applications. This engineer will be involved in all the phases of a third-party system implementation or in-house application development, from requirements gathering, design, and development, to customization and maintenance. This position is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about all types of technologies and applications (homegrown and third party), is an enthusiastic learner, and has a strong desire to impact the success of a technology research organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand features and products using a variety of programming languages
  • Review project requirements and write technical specifications
  • Debug, test, and fix errors
  • Document code development and revisions
  • Create and use software tools to help automate writing code

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of PHP concepts including composer, familiar with any PHP Framework (including Laravel, Symfony, CakePHP, etc...), and SCSS.
  • A solid understanding of software development techniques such as OOP, MVC, TDD.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Pantheon or Acquia or Platform.sh.
  • Experience with source control management (ideally using Git).
  • ​Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Nice to Have Qualifications:

  • Typescript experience
  • Experience with Angular, React, Next.js, SvelteKit, TailwindCSS
  • Experience with Event Sourcing
  • Experience with implementing Onion Architecture apps.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,051.54 - $132,180.69 per year
