Hunter Ambrose is proud to partner with Catalina Island Medical Center in Avalon, California, located on beautiful Catalina Island off the coast of Los Angeles.

The community has just under 3,500 residents and is accessible by ferry from Long Beach, San Pedro, and Dona Point, California. Car use is limited on the island as it is a tourist-focused community where residents and visitors walk, ride bikes or use a golf cart for transportation.

About Catalina Island Medical Center-

Catalina Island Medical Center (CIMC) is a critical access hospital and the only hospital on the island; serving all of its residents and tourists. They are proud to be one of the largest employers on the island, providing over 100 jobs. While rural, the hospital is equipped with an Emergency Room, outpatient services and Long Term Care facility (currently with 5 patients).

Preferred candidate qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California, or able to obtain
• Out-of-state candidates are welcome to apply
• 2+ years of experience preferred

Compensation/Benefits Package:

• Pay range depending on credentials and combined experience
• Relocation assistance available
• Temporary housing for 3 months available (suitable for the employee, 1 family member and no pets). The hospital coordinates with local landlords to assist CIMC employees in finding long term housing
• Ferry booklet available for one roundtrip ticket/week
