We are seeking a Physician Assistant to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of our healthcare team. You will be required to work independantly but always under the direct supervision of board certified pediatrician.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments for ages newborn though 21 years
Perform comprehensive physical examinations on children of all ages
Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.

Patient appointments in office or telemedicine appointments via zoom (or by other electronic means)

Shared On Call duties after hours and weekends; triage and phone advice for practice families

Qualifications:

Previous experience in care of pediatric patients
Ability to build rapport with patients and families
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities and management of staff members
Experience with or aptitude for EHR documentation
