- Provides comprehensive Neurosurgery-related healthcare under the supervision of a Neurosurgeon.
- With physician oversight, the PA provides assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for neurosurgery patients, to include outpatient office care, a "surgical assist" role, and hospital rounding.
- Evaluates patient and obtains pertinent information for the diagnosis and treatment of the medical problem.
- Documents applicable information and completes paperwork.
- Fosters the learning and development of staff to fulfill the current and future requirements of individuals and the organization.
- Physician Assistant Degree
- One to two years experience strongly preferred with emphasis in surgical setting.
Licensure/Certification
- Current Oklahoma PA-C License or Board Eligible
- $48.20-$78.73/hr depending on previous work experience.
