Full Job Description

Dr. Syeda Sultana is 17+ years of experience as Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. Practicing in Central Florida, Orlando, and the state of Florida Virtually.

We are an outpatient Mental Health Clinic Provider and take a lot of pride in providing quality mental health care in the Greater Orlando area. We need a warm and compassionate person for the practice who believes in providing evidence-based care to our patients.

Physician Assistant- Psychiatry
Responsibilities Include:

• Performing initial psychiatric evaluations
• Prescribing medications during follow up medication management appointments
• Electronic (eprescribe) Prescription of all medications
• Case conferencing with Dr. Sultana
• Laboratory ordering and interpreting results
• Peer Chart Reviews
• Completes case management duties and/or case management requests
• Obtain Vitals
• Completes all documentation within the required facility timeframe
• Continually updates clinical knowledge and skills through consultation, formal and informal education, and review of literature for the benefit of themselves as well as for the medical team
• Participate in clinical and medical meetings as needed
• Follows all licensing and joint commission requirements

Proper Knowledge and Skills:

Core Competencies

• Bilingual Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Creole is helpful but not a must, Proper English and grammar, usage, and spelling
• Practice Fusion, Practicemate Software application related to the field
• General office's principles and practices
• Basic computer, typing, internet, virtual, Zoom visits, knowledge including email etiquette
• Professional phone and customer service demeanor
• Demonstrate Motivational Interviewing Skills
• Demonstrate Educational Strategies

Pay: TBD based on experience, yearly salaried per year
