Pro-Craft Construction is looking for a talented and passionate professional with experience in Plumbing Designing, BIM Detailing, VDC and/or Mechanical Engineering to join our growing team! We seek a high-energy individual who thrives in solving problems, enjoys variety and loves the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment with significant opportunity for advancement and earnings period. This professional is responsible for 3D modeling of a variety of construction trade systems and assemblies for complex building projects, identify conflicts with other disciplines, and applying BIM expertise to all parts of construction phases. Ability to work in a virtual environment with many other team members proactively assessing constructability to reduce in-the-field construction errors. We work on various projects and market types. That ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish and foster relationships with clients that enable repeat business.

JOB DUTIES

• Develop models for plumbing, site utilities, mechanical piping, and other related items
• Clash detect with architectural, structural, and other MEP elements.
• Set up a project folder and file structure
• Processes architectural backgrounds
• Executes application BIM 360 Glue, PlanGrid, Navisworks
• Tags and dimensions piping and plumbing drawings for field installers.
• Lays out and produces point files and backgrounds for field robotic total stations.
• Work primarily at the office on a computer. Included quarterly job site visits.
• Participate or manage online coordination meetings with other construction trades
• Create plumbing shop drawing from scratch to constructible drawings
• Create plumbing spool drawing in SysQue software for fabrication
• Create hanger details and attachments to structure
• Create hanger weight point loads if required
• Create fixture rough-in details
• Create equipment rough in details including a plan and section views
• Generate bill of material for purchasing
• Create schedules for hanger spacing, rod sizes, can sizing
• Work with Design Manager, Project Manager, and other team members

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of industry-specific experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems
• Effective communication skills
• Highly skilled with Autodesk Products: Revit, SysQue, Navisworks, Trimble, AutoCAD
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay flexible while meeting deadlines and goals.
• Must have the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, innovative, and fast-paced setting.

PREFERRED:

• Experience with Revit and Navisworks
• Experience with SysQue or other fabrication softwar
• Field experience in the plumbing trade
• Compensation based on experience
