Summary:

Multi-billion dollar, Fortune 500 manufacturer of Consumer Goods seeks a Principle Systems Manufacturing Engineer for one of their flagship facilities.

As Principal Systems Manufacturing Engineer, you will be a critical member of the leadership team and be a strong business partner, working with leadership to support the Plant goals/deliverables. You will be responsible for leading and executing manufacturing engineering activities, ensuring optimal manufacturing processes, and driving continuous improvement efforts. You will serve as a subject matter expert in your field, providing technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team.

This is a highly visible role in a key facility that has both strategic and tactical components.

Relocation: Yes – full relocation offered

Compensation: $100,000 - $143,000 + 15% bonus + 9% 401k match!

Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant technical strategies to improve operations, safety, energy, engineering projects, maintenance, CPS, and OEE programs.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime and promote a culture of safety in technical and operational areas.
• Develop and advance the plant technical support team.
• Manage plant technical expenses and work with the Plant Engineering Manager on the capital budget.
• Oversee utility systems, provide engineering support for plant operations/maintenance, and solve technical problems including PLCs, VSDs and networks.

Requirements:

• Bachelors's Degree
• 8+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in Food/Beverage/Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• 3+ years of management/leadership experience.
• Experience leading Continuous Improvement initiatives.
