Job Description
Keysight Laboratories has an exciting opportunity for a Master-level Product Manager to lead the PathWave Test Sync Executive (TSE), Truss & FPGA programs
Test Sync enables the development and execution of synchronous, real-time operations across multiple instruments for developing measurement applications that require tight synchronization, phase coherence and real-time control and feedback
Truss provides the components, infrastructure and processes to enable instrument teams to efficiently develop dynamically reconfigurable open-instrument architectures accelerating time to market and value-added solution deployment.
PathWave FPGA is a commercial software application that hooks into Keysight enabled-instruments’ SW and FPGA architectures, empowering users to easily develop customized application FPGA IP for use inside the instrument’s reconfigurable FPGA partition to create targeted solutions for end-customer use-cases.
In this role the Product Manager will collect, identify, prioritize and propose projects and programs to support internal partners (CoE’s/IST’s) and external customers while working closely with R&D Managers and Portfolio Managers to deliver programs through the stage gate process.
The successful candidate who fills this critical position will shape Keysight’s future products by delivering software and gateware which supports Keysight revenue and directly impact Keysight’s roadmaps for integrated solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Define & drive strategic direction and roadmaps for PathWave Test Sync, Truss and FPGA
- Interface with partners in PathWave Software and Keysight centers of excellence to understand their future needs to be addressed
- Monitoring & tracking OS developments, industries and trends, plus market and business growth opportunities
- Supply R&D managers and technical leads with market intelligence to make key decisions
- Gain support and investment for key projects
- Work closely with R&D managers to scope requests and staffing decisions, drive effective tradeoffs and support program execution
- Develop & maintain relationships across Keysight to identify emerging needs and challenges and communicate trade-offs
Job Qualifications
University Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.- Software controlled measurement system experience in communication or radar measurement applications requiring precise timing between elements
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize broad inputs, summarize insights, and communicate across functions and organizations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in communicating program progress and status to senior management.
- Ability to multi-task and manage incoming requests across multiple businesses.
- Detail-oriented, with experience building financial and decision support models.
- Familiarity with cross platform software development and deploymen
- Knowledge of:
o Computer communication standards (e.g. PCIe, CXL, USB, etc)
o Network communication standards (e.g. Ethernet, Infiniiband, ORAN/eCPRI, etc)
o Timing & Synchronization Standards (e.g. IEEE1588, Keysight TSE, NI TCLK, etc)
o Instrumentation architectures (box, modular)
Preferred locations: Loveland, CO; Colorado Springs, CO; Santa Rosa, CA; Santa Clara, CA; Atlanta, GA but will consider Remote locations for qualified candidates.
