PROJECT COORDINATOR

IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT

  • Hybrid – Work from Home and Irvine office (in office at least x2 weekly M-F, 7 AM to 4 PM)
  • $25-$30/hr. DOE
  • Full Time Non-Exempt/Hourly Position
  • Reporting to the Director of Program Management

Basic Duties & Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day schedules, budgets, and details for all cabling & technology construction projects within new multi-family residential and commercial construction. Multi-faceted position with an extremely fast-paced setting that provides an opportunity to work in a team environment. A successful project coordinator must be able to multitask and have strong computer knowledge, customer service, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide support to the project manager(s) as assigned.
  • Collection of initial contracts, documentation, and project information for new projects.
  • Creation of project submittals which will involve proposal review, gathering of product specifications, creation of package and internal review, and tracking of submittals through to approval.
  • Creation of RFI which will involve receiving direction from the Project Manager as far as contents, document creation, and internal review and tracking of submitted RFI.
  • Review of project addenda.
  • Creation of change orders which will involve working with the Project Manager on content, creation of documents for internal review, submittal to customer, and tracking through the process until CO is invoiced.
  • Creation of project pull lists in accounting software and the ordering of materials.
  • Maintenance of material tracking information and delivery schedules.
  • Review and validate consultant, contractor, and vendor payment applications.
  • Actively participate in project coordination as directed by the Project Manager and Operations Manager, including the scheduling of field technicians.

Looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator, preferably in a construction/contractor environment.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with computer programs (Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Excel, Word, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Strong in math and deductive reasoning
  • Be self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to communicate ideas and instructions clearly both written and verbally
  • Work well with others, be well organized and thorough
