Our Project Coordinator/ Design Consultant position is geared towards recent Interior Design or Architecture graduates who are looking for a company to grow with. This program is designed to be an entry level designer position that transitions employees into a fully functional Design Consultant/ Project Coordinator role.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the Project Coordinator/ Design Consultant must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prospecting, Sales Service and Pre-Design:

• Welcome and attend all walk-in and visiting clients. Register client’s information.
• Support Sales Team on initial client’s meetings
• Prepare hand-draw designs based on client’s needs

Design:

• Develop the project by doing the drawings and elevations in the Company software
• Ensure any customization requests are possible
• Send project with drawings and elevations for proposal to be drafted

Proposal:

• Support Sales Team to prepare final proposal
• Review proposal with Sales Team for approval
• Support Sales Team to create a strategy to present the proposal to the client
• Create a presentation and finalize proposal package for client

Presentation:

• Schedule presentation with client
• Support Sales Team to present proposal to client
• Gather any feedback or concerns from clients on design, space planning, finishes and pricing

Follow-Up:

• Based on client’s feedback, request any necessary changes to proposal and work on revisions

Closing:

• Support Sales Team to explain the entire process to the client all the way through to installation
• Complete the financial protocol checklist and obtain client signature on contract

Pre-Shop Drawings

• Go to the job site to take final field measurements
• Support Sales Team to define, draw, and send any special design requirements to the factory
• Support Sales Team to prepare pre shop drawings and send them to the engineering department
• Schedule shop drawings meeting with client
• Support Sales Team on meeting to sign off shop drawings
• Send shop drawings to engineering department for final revision
• Support Sales Team to prepare final project package for production

Installation/ Tecnica

• Responsible for internal installation walk through with installation team
• Responsible for external installation walk through with client
• Responsible to fill out tecnica form and send for emission
• Responsible for tecnica walk through with client

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Basic Computer knowledge
• Basic Design Software knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• Ability to build relationships based on trust and communication
• Detail oriented
• Knowledge of current design industry trends
• Ability to sketch room layouts and ideas
• Ability to field measure kitchens, closets and bathrooms
• Sales oriented personality
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Portuguese is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
