Ford Drywall & Stucco is seeking a Project Coordinator / Project Engineer to assist project manager in the planning and execution of drywall, framing, and stucco scopes of work in the commercial, healthcare, and residential markets.

Job Description

Assist the Project Manager and team members in the planning, coordination, and administration of assigned projects. This includes areas such as RFI’s, contracts, change orders, purchasing, scheduling, and progress reports.

Summarize and distribute significant contract and scope provisions to project team.

Update work log for scope of work completion, and completion of tasks on weekly work plan.

Track progress and spending, ensuring the work is completed on time and within budget.

Assist with the buyout and procurement of material, subcontractor, and engineering quotes and preparing RFIs, submittals, change orders and shop drawings.

Maintain LLT log ensuring that LLT items are ordered timely and delivery is communicated to project team.

Support and visit assigned job sites and participate in job meetings as required.

Understand and comply with all company policies, procedures, and corporate safety program.

Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field

Flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks and produce quality work

Ability to diagnose and process key information and recognize critical areas on the job and to communicate effectively

Proficient in the English language; bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Experience working with people of culturally diverse backgrounds

Must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)

US work authorization (Required)
