Ardent Company, a Heavy/Highway/Civil Infrastructure construction company in the Washington DC area has multiple openings for EXPERIENCED and ENTRY-LEVEL Project Engineers. Project engineers, while on training, will be involved in all aspects of project management and will be on track to become project managers for large scale road and bridge construction projects. Duties include a variety of project management tasks including project startup activities, submittals, CPM scheduling, tracking performed work, preparing invoices, communicating with the project owners, suppliers and subcontractors and other day-to-day project duties. Projects include various trades involved in large-scale infrastructure construction projects.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Ideal candidate would be a recent graduate in Engineering , preferably Civil Engineering, with the following qualifications:

1) Fast-learner and very detail oriented

2) Responsible and dependable

3) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

4) Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time

5) Ability to work and deliver under strict deadlines

6) Excellent computer and math skills

7) Experience with CPM scheduling a plus

8) Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
