Job Summary

The Project Engineer will lead small projects and assist with larger scale projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Under limited supervision, focus on the documentation, illustration, and digital modelling of engineering designs and processes.
• Perform cost benefit analysis for projects as well as create capital expenditure budgets.
• Assess engineering requirements and translate into technical blueprints, drawings, layouts, and simulation models using software or applying standard techniques to digitize, edit, and revise engineering drawings of components, parts, and assemblies.
• Create digital proto-types and conduct design simulations for purposes of verifying reliability/safety and optimizing engineering processes.
• Collaborate with product/manufacturing process engineers by recommending changes to component designs based on outcomes of digital proto-typing and design simulations.
• Occasional Travel to other Nusil Sites. (Project dependent).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working on design and build projects.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Solid Works, as well as experience with 2D CAD software such as Auto CAD or a similar software.
• Technical Writing skills, as well as effective communication skills.
• Experience in a cGMP Manufacturing Environment preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards preferred: i.e. ASME BPVC/B31.3, ISA 84, TEMA, NFPA 70/70E, etc.
