A-1 Glass, LLC is the Central Coast's industry leader in residential and commercial glass, window and door installations. We specialize in both new construction and retrofit projects in which we supply and install windows, doors, showers, glass rail systems, multi-slide pocketing door systems and more. We are hiring immediately for a Project Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has experience and knowledge in the construction industry and has a keen understanding of architectural blueprints with the ability to perform takeoffs. Must have excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Candidate must be reliable, professional, extremely organized, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a friendly and fast paced environment while working with customers both on the phone and in-person. We want to invest in a team player who wants to grow with us and is interested in long-term employment.

The role of the Project Estimator is to bid, sell and order projects. This position is considered an inside sales position and is primarily responsible for turning around estimates in a timely and efficient manner while communicating efficiently and effectively with team members, customers and building a rapport with regular clients that include builders and contractors. The position works primarily with the outside and inside sales team, upper management and the administrative team. Establishing positive lasting relationships and providing expert product knowledge is a must, you will receive training on all products to do so. The ideal candidate for this position is a true company and team player who serves as a liaison between the customers and leadership; excellent interpersonal and communication skills is vital for this position.

Required experience:

Project Management: 2 years or
Estimating: 2 years
Construction: 2 years (must have strong office skills/experience)

• Valid drivers license
• Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and multi-task
• Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of reliability, accountability and initiative
• Willingness to work flexible hours

Position is full-time Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
