Reports To: Operations Manager

Project Manager

Description:

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects.

General Purpose:

To ensure consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project
  • Facilitate project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define & manage project tasks and requirements
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Coordinate with key partners, such as General Contractor, Interior Designer, Cabinet Builder, etc., to ensure that the project runs smoothly
  • Monitor and report on progress of project to all stakeholders, including problems and solutions
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Quality control & assurance
  • Manage project budget, including tracking labor & parts used, while comparing to estimates
  • Involve the salesperson when actual project costs exceed estimated costs to come to a resolution acceptable to all parties
  • Initiate and manage normal project changes and interventions to achieve desired results
  • Work with the salesperson for all change orders that significantly alter the original scope of work
  • Work with the production team to ensure that all system changes are documented accordingly in order to create a final set of “As-Built” drawings
  • Collect progress payments as established by the agreed upon payment schedule
  • Perform final job inspections & ensure that all project details are completed per the original design intent and to the Client’s satisfaction
  • Coordinate the “Handoff Process” with the Client, Salesperson, & After-care Service Department including final Client walk-through and tutorials

Desired Education and Experience

  • Qualification in project management
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Knowledge of general construction processes and standards
  • Experience reading and understanding project and building plans
  • Direct work experience in project management
  • Completion of Industry Specific training programs such as the CEDIA certification program
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Proven experience in strategic planning

  • Proven experience in change management
  • Proficient in project management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
