C&T Design and Equipment Company is currently seeking a Project Manager/Coordinator with a passion for commercial construction to join our team in the Indianapolis office. The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver successful projects through a safe work environment, quality construction/installation, effective planning & scheduling, cost management, collaboration with project stakeholders, and superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have project management experience within the foodservice industry.

As a Project Manager/Coordinator, you will be responsible for estimating and overseeing multiple foodservice equipment design and installation projects. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of construction project management and experience supervising installation teams during onsite activities.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

· Estimating

· Travel to jobsite with our geographical territory.

· Attend pre-construction meetings.

· Attend coordination meetings and coordinate with other trade contractors.

· Take field measurements, review, and release shop drawings for production.

· Manage project progress and schedule installations.

· Supervise installation teams during on site activities.

· Attend progress meetings.

· Attend and coordinate owner training demonstrations.

· Interact and understand the bid project coordinator function.

· Assemble and understand equipment brochure book creation

· Interact and understand the company project rough-in process.

· Review all project submittals for accuracy with the construction documents before final submittal.

· Update and maintain project contact lists and submittal schedule.

· Review inventory with contract documents prior to installation of equipment

· Assist with subcontractor/installer selections as required.

· Communicate job progress with billing department.

· Assemble and understand all project closeout requirements.

· Review job cost for accuracy.

Skills/Experience desired / not required:

· 1-3 years commercial building construction experience, food service projects preferred.

· Knowledge of food service equipment, application and mechanical needs.

· Strong verbal and written skills with internal and external clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
