Opportunity

Provide direction and management to ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations. Must possess industry specific knowledge to effectively plan, direct, and supervise project objectives. The Project Manager serves as professional representative of Charter Construction playing a critical role in delivering projects consistent with service and client expectations.

Major areas of responsibility:

  • Review and understand project drawings and specs
  • Strong estimating skills
  • Coordinate with project architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, and field personnel
  • Fully understand the prime/owner contract as it relates to notice/contract obligations.
  • Maintain and organize all project related documentation
  • Creation and full understanding of the project budget and its constraints
  • Maintain and organize all project related documentation: original plans, computerized data and files
  • Proactively identify potential problems in the field; develop alternatives; provide an optimum solution in the RFI or ask design team for direction
  • Assist Superintendent with coordination of inspections with consultants and authorities as required
  • Strong Sensitivity to residents needs and concerns

Experience / Skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years as a construction Project Manager
  • Health Care Facility Experience
  • Very high degree of patients and sensitivity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years as a construction project Manager
  • 3 plus years in commercial construction experience
  • Degree in Construction Management

Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
