Job Description :
Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Essential Functions:
- Identify and lead value creation projects with the facilities through network and manufacturing optimization
- Project manage cross functional groups in system related value creation projects
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Develop KPI’s to track and sustain project effectiveness
- Develop and implement standardized processes and procedure
- Travel to different facilities to work through roadblocks identified in the project
- Lead the implementation of lean principles and best practices through the business as identified through the projects
- Identify SKU rationalization and analyze product profitability
- Visit plants to provide support, evaluate plant operations, and provide requested assistance
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ERP system knowledge and ability to navigate them
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft suite
Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary education required (Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business or engineering from an accredited College or University, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification or six-sigma experience
- 5-10 years of project management and related experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
