Job Description :

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Facilitate, manage, and lead project teams
  • Communicate and coordinate activities along cross-functional boundaries: meetings, project documentation, timeline and budget
  • Develop and execute to a Project Plan with the team with accurate start date and total duration
  • Manage request for proposal (RFP), scope of work document (SOW), budget estimates and purchase performance agreements.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of corporate equipment and component standards in a GMP environment.
  • Ensures component standards are met when sourcing equipment and services.
  • Facilitates review of project plan for code compliance and risk assessment
  • Develop and implement action plans and critical path to mitigate project setbacks while maintaining schedule milestones and budget with the team
  • Facilitates review and approval of shop drawings related to assigned projects
  • Holds project team, vendors, regulatory agencies, and contractors responsible and accountable to the agreed upon project deliverables, schedule, and budget
  • Communicate with ongoing feedback to stakeholders, managers, and other functional groups related to project timeline, scope of work, vendor relations, and budget with a high level of transparency
  • Obtains all required project approvals and manages project fiscal accountability
  • Apply Project Management processes and best practices to ensure high-quality project results
  • Support refinement and deployment of Project Management structure and tools to expand capabilities throughout the organization
  • Conducts vendor site observations for quality of work performance to assure contracted deliverables/services meet expectations.
  • Immediately reports any food safety or quality issues to management or other individual authorized to initiate action.
  • Backup Provision: In the absence of the Project Manager, a Process Engineer will fulfill the food safety responsibilities of the Project Manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management or related field, required.

3 to 5 years’ experience in a Project Management role, preferred.
