Job Description:

Looking for an experienced and qualified Project Manager for a long term local MEP Public Works project. Your key responsibility is ensuring delivery of the project on time, within budget, and with the utmost quality and safety. You will manage multiple contracts on one project and be accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation and execution within the organizations strategies and goals, while maintaining constant leadership and support with client, vendors, subcontractors and team members.

Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight to a large Mechanical, HVAC construction project with multiple contracts and phases which includes personnel management, contract compliance, project planning, scheduling, reports, cash flow, materials management, safety, job cost and profitability within existing budgets, managing trades and impact of changes in work.
• Partner with and form strong relationships with key team members, including but not limited to, craftspeople and their supervision, project team, subcontractors, vendors and the client.
• Play a key role in managing the project financials, making sure project remains profitable.
• To maintain and have a complete and thorough knowledge and understanding of the Project Scope, Contract Documents, Plans, and Specifications.
• To establish and maintain the Project Schedules, incorporating dates and times for client decisions, availability of design information, procurement of materials and subcontracts, lead times for fabrication, and field installation.
• Mentor Project Engineers and help prepare them for the next step in their profession. In Keeping with core values of integrity and respect for all team members.
• Plan the project (ultimately from start to finish) with an understanding of all of the moving parts involved and what it takes to successfully manage the process.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management Required
• 5 to 7+ years experience in related field Required

Compensation/Benefits:

Salary Range: 150K - 175K
