FUNCTIONS

· Responsible for member marketing of the credit union and a knowledge of all services offered to a degree that will enable answering questions, or referring member for specific services.

· Identifies project stakeholders and defines project scope.

· Documents technical requirements, develops and oversees project documentation, and implements change control procedures.

· Defines and documents complex business requirements and processes.

· Collaborates and communicates with technical and non-technical staff through all aspects of the project lifecycle.

· Coordinates the effort required by multiple business units and external vendors to complete projects.

· Ensures timely, accurate, and effective delivery of solutions into production.

· Develops cost projections in relation to projects for both man power effort and third party costs.

· Performs monthly status updates to a centralized tracking system on all active projects.

· Manages stakeholder relations.

· Works with managers to obtain resources for project implementation.

· Coordinates and serves as lead for the credit union’s Innovation Steering Committee.

· Provide the Information Services Manager with monthly reports regarding progress made and results achieved in all areas of responsibility.

· Assists the Information Services Manager as needed.

· Ability to follow direction and lead other in relation to assigned projects.

· Ability to work under limited supervision of the IS Manager.

· Requires experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

PREREQUISITES FOR THIS POSITION

· Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in management or technical discipline or equivalent degree/experience combination. Project management certification highly desired.

· Minimum Experience: 2 years managing progressively complex projects. Experience working with Microsoft Project or similar software highly desired.

· Personal Characteristics and Skills: Must be of the highest integrity; be in good health and with personal habits above reproach. Must practice confidentiality. Must have a high degree of self-motivation, organizational skills, and be able to work independently with the ability to make sound decisions. Must be able to take directions and seek the council of supervisor as necessary. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

· Working Conditions: Continuous alertness, precision, and concentration to ensure accuracy. Continuous alertness of surroundings for security purposes. Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, i.e., robbery. This position may require extended or irregular hours. Continuous standing and/or sitting for long periods of time when performing duties related to this position. Occasional bending, squatting or kneeling. Occasional reaching above shoulder level to reach supplies overhead.
