Accountant

Kelley Hardesty Smith and Co is an accounting firm designed for the closely held business. We provide clients with financial and consulting services that will assist with attaining their business and personal goals. We bring a vast background of experience from small, medium, and large public accounting firms to the trenches in industry.

This position will start out responsible for accounting transactions and relationships with a multitude of clients, including work in QuickBooks and other General Ledgers, and develop into preparing tax returns, payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, and property tax returns. This position will also work on Compiled, Reviewed, and Audited Financial Statements, and ultimately analyze businesses of clients to provide tax and other consulting advice.

What We Are Looking For:

• Associates in Accounting
• Bachelor’s in Accounting (preferred)
• 1-3+ years of Accounting experience (please know your debits and credits!)
• Experience with Quickbooks and other accounting software
