We are looking for a qualified Purchasing Agent to source materials for Low Voltage Construction, Security, and an AV Company.

The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for, product research and sourcing of different construction materials.

• Request quotes and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing available
• Create Purchase Orders for suppliers to meet free freight minimums
• Receive materials into QuickBooks and verify pricing
• Update materials and pricing in QuickBooks
• Scan materials into inventory program
• Perform quarterly inventory counts (Production & AV Company) Organize, stage, and scan materials for Security and AV to appropriate projects
• Request return authorizations of defective or surplus product with suppliers
• Purchase of consumables, office supplies, and tools as well.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Software, proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• QuickBooks Experience is preferred
