This position is located in Baraboo, WI.
The Quotations and Technical Support’s purpose is to be responsible for quotations and technical support to customers on a daily basis, focusing on Quotation Accuracy, Response Time, Technical Competence, Price Negotiation and Customer Relations within assigned Territory (or Territories).
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop rapport and relationships with the Distributors, Customers, Representatives and OEMs.
· Provide direction and support to Representatives and Regionals on pricing, technical support, customer management, terms and conditions. Provide updates on developments of new accounts to be managed. Provide training as needed on systems and HPS product offerings.
· Manage quotations on projects, power transformers, custom products, and new product development. Gather project and product specifications required to develop an accurate quotation.
· Develop an understanding of market level pricing based on territory while working with distributors and end users to structure pricing to achieve maximum price strategies.
· Review all competitors and products they have to offer and provide competitors feedback to Marketing.
· Manage price increases as needed.
· Work closely with Regional Sales Managers to achieve maximum margin attainment on all sales and projects.
· Understand regional target accounts and key customers
· Work with RSM to provide feedback on Territory sales and provide documentation related to issues with customers and representatives.
· Advise RSMs of large opportunities, new customers, and OEM development within the territory including updates on projects, new customer and product developments.
· Deliver to Customer Service team complete order packets for custom products and projects. Order packets should include the following information: plant placement, costing documentation, specifications, and Engineering correspondences.
· Provide coaching on catalog parts and customer specifications. Provide knowledge transfer of information as needed.
· Act as liaison between Customer Service and customers as needed.
· Support meeting national targets and strategies by assisting with the creation, implementation and support of sales plans.
· Escalate any identified Customer Relation activities including feedback provided by Customer/OEM/Representatives that may impact territory sales.
Qualifications:
· Associates Degree Required; Degree in electrical related field preferred.
· Experience in Manufacturing/Distribution and Sales preferred.
· Strong Electrical knowledge preferred.
