JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a loan analyst with a strong real estate background to manage lending requests that come in from borrowers and brokers--from first contact through loan payoff. The analyst will be instrumental in growing and managing Enact Partners’ real estate mortgage fund portfolio. They will do this by evaluating, negotiating and presenting quality real estate loans to be added to the fund’s portfolio or a lending partner. The ideal candidate will exhibit high character and ethics, have excellent critical thinking skills, knowledge of real estate principals, be resourceful, detailed and teamwork oriented.

This role requires experience in either real estate development, acquisitions/dispositions, leasing, property management, land use, construction project management or commercial real estate finance. Are you the right person to help us grow?

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Triage loan requests by engaging with borrower and/or broker to gather preliminary information about the project to determine if it is a possible fit for our portfolio
  • Assess and identify risks on commercial loan requests such as land entitlement projects, site development plans, construction budgets and schedules
  • Provide and negotiate an outline of our proposed loan terms to the borrower/broker
  • Conduct due diligence upon receipt of a signed Letter of Intent, application and deposit
  • Provide review and recommendations of loan pipeline at weekly staff meetings
  • Manage the existing loan portfolio

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum three years’ experience in real estate development, acquisitions/dispositions, leasing, property management, land use, construction project management or commercial real estate finance
  • Knowledge of the principals and practices of real estate acquisition, investing preferred
  • Excellent financial analysis and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently, analyze data, take and recommend appropriate actions with minimal supervision
  • Capability of working in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Demonstrates critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Computer proficiency, specifically in Excel
