Seeking a Receptionist/ to Facilitate all telephone communications and serve as a referral source for residents, visitors and staff on an as needed basis.

COVID-19 considerations: In compliance with the Department of Public Health, all staff must be fully vaccinated & boosted against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate parties.
• Greet and identify public (visitors, vendors, consultants, clients, etc.) and their purpose for entering the building, and direct them to appropriate destinations/departments following established protocol and procedure.
• Create and distribute Health services schedule.
• Provide clerical support
• Receive and sort mail. Distribute incoming mail and send outgoing mail.
• Assist in family visits.
• Maintain daily move-ins, move-outs, hospitalizations, etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of emergency procedures. (Fire & Disaster Plans).

Requirements

• Previous experience in healthcare setting highly desirable.
• Excellent telephone manners and communications skills.
• Customer Service orientation
• Reliable, intelligent, poised
• Experienced with Microsoft suite
• Understanding of the specific needs of the elderly and individuals with memory impairment.
