Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Qualifications:

• Two years verifiable CDL Class A driving experience
• Maintain a valid Class A CDL
• Possess or have the ability to obtain a DOT Medical certification

Communication Skills:

• Ability to maintain effective communication verbally and through company telematics systems

Driving Skills:

• Driving experience should include various terrain types, large metropolitan areas, and winter driving in inclement weather conditions
• Thorough understanding of FMCSA pre and post trip inspection requirements
• Refrigerated trailer experience a preferred

MVR History

• No more than 2 Moving Violations (no more than 1 in the previous 12 months)
• No preventable accidents in 3 Years

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Rotate between Texas, Nebraska, and the Pennsylvania region delivering and picking up dedicated customers product
• Transport and deliver products and materials
• Follow appropriate safety procedures for operating a CMV and transporting goods
• Follows traffic laws, regulations, and requirements, including FMCSA, OSHA, DOT, and any other applicable regulations.
• Inspects vehicles for defects before and after trips to ensure that equipment is in good working order. Submits report about vehicle condition.
• Maintain logs in ELD according to FMCSA regulations
• Obtains receipts and signatures for delivered goods
• Ensures timely and accurate paperwork flow
• Read and Maintain Bills of Lading for DOT compliance and record retention
• Track Inventory
• Maintains bills of lading for DOT compliance and record retention
• Operates refer trailer in compliance with customer load temperature requirements
