Who You Are

You are an actively licensed RN (Registered Nurse) with a current CPR/ BLS certification and one year of work experience. Position is for 6a-6p shift with 40 hrs. gtd. 6 week contract to start.

Registered Nurses promote and restore patients’ health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members. While specific requirements may vary based on facility, our RNs can expect to execute the following duties:

• Perform professional nursing care of patients including assessment, triage, treatment, and evaluation of patients.
• Record patient histories, perform various diagnostic tests, and administer medications.
• Must have the ability to follow guidelines including doctors' orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary.
• Observe patient progress and record observations in patient medical records.
• Ensure effective nurse to nurse reporting.
• Educate nursing staff on patient care.
• Adapt patient care to individual patient needs.
• Assist the nurse managers in decisions regarding nursing care.
• Report to a manager or head of a unit/department.
