RETTEW is looking for a Renewable Energy Developer/Engineer with experience in engineering procurement and construction (EPC) projects, with an emphasis in solar, biogas and battery energy storage projects, to work directly with our prospective clients and Renewables Team to show value in renewable development opportunities.

Location: Conshohocken, Lancaster, Lehigh Valley, Mechanicsburg, Pittsburgh, State College, or Williamsport, PA | Akron/Canton, OH

Requirements:

The ideal candidate posses the ability to meet with potential clients and evaluate financial viability of projects.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental or Energy Engineering
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience working cradle to grave, managing all aspects of the development, design and specification of private and commercial renewable energy projects to include:
    • Initial feasibility evaluation including financial viability
    • Conducting site investigations to evaluate existing energy infrastructure and energy load assessment
    • Value engineering to ensure best expenditure of client’s resources
  • Professional Engineering License desired but not required
  • Capability to independently initiate and manage tasks, with a high degree of detail and process orientation
  • Ability to manage and work in teams, and establish and maintain cross-functional and working relationships
  • Willingness and ability to set priorities and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills to provide leadership to collaborate and work within a team
  • Strong analytical skills to assess viability of potential renewable and alternative energy opportunities
  • Strong business development and client communication skills
  • Project management and proposal writing skills
  • Dedication to safety
  • Available for limited travel
