Overview:
As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist/Clinical Research Coordinator, you will develop, implement, and manage our customers organizational medical research compliance program. You will support Principal Investigators with the day-to-day coordination of military medical research projects and be the subject matter expert for compliance standards, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage clinical research compliance for ongoing projects and interface with Human Research Protections oversight personnel.

Support proposal development and submission to various funding agencies and leadership signatories

Develop Informed Consent Documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) submission

Submit, respond, and maintain record keeping with the IRB system in use (EIRB or IRB NET)

Conduct literature review in the current and future military medical domain

Prepare interview questions for research studies in conjunction with the PI and standardized measurement instruments in place

Coordinate experiments and research according to protocols laid out by primary researchers

Willingness to travel to conferences as well as present work and findings

Brief stakeholders and leadership with regards to active and future projects when tasked

Prepare progress reports for the PI and funding agency for compliance related activities

Prepare other articles, reports, and presentations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in health science or related field preferred, Masters preferred

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical technology research and human protections

Preferred Certified Clinical Coordinator or similar certification
- Preferred knowledge of DoD medical research
Existing Level III Public Trust Clearance and above or the ability to obtain Level III Public Trust. (within required timeframe as determined by DLH HR)
