Position Summary

The Risk Advisory Supervisor leads a variety of IT risk assurance and consulting engagements to clients including SOC 2 examinations, Microsoft SSPA assessments and other outsourced IT audit engagements. The individual is responsible for managing relationships with key client contacts and providing high-quality services and subject matter expertise. Delegation and supervisory responsibilities will be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOC 2 engagements in accordance with AICPA requirements
• Ensure the timely and quality completion of project deliverables
• Provide subject-matter expertise on all relevant IT Risk Advisory engagements
• Prepare, execute, and document testing procedures and outcomes in a high-quality manner
• Identify control issues, process inefficiencies and/or operational risks and recommend appropriate solutions
• Apply knowledge of a variety of information security and privacy control standards
• Oversee various components of the engagements, including those with higher degrees of complexity and risk
• Remain knowledgeable of emerging trends and best practices in the industry
• Develop a solid understanding of the client’s business practices

Qualifications and/or Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressively challenging experience in the areas of IT audit and/or risk management.
• CPA, CISA or CISSP and/or other industry-leading IT security certification
• Experience with AICPA requirements pertaining to SOC 2 compliance

Preferred

• Familiarity with security compliance platforms such as Drata, Tugboat, etc.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and examinations
