An automotive parts manufacturing company area is currently seeking a motivated Sales Assistant Manager to join their facility by the Lexington, KY area. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years’ experience with sales in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Design Engineer Responsibilities Include:

• Manage existing and new projects while serving as the client's primary point of contact
• Communicate by phone or email with customers
• Create presentations in PowerPoint for quarterly updates
• Participate in meetings regarding project status with other departments
• Attend short-term business trips to other facilities
• Other duties as assigned

Design Engineer Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in customer service or sales
• Familiarity with cost development and price negotiation preferred
• Ability to travel occasionally for short–term business trips
• Presentation and strong interpersonal skills required
• Good problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
