The ideal candidate for this role, must have the ability to effectively open a sale and build a strong relationship with all types of customers in a retail environment. Must have confidence to control your own destiny, income in a proven business model and lead generating machine. Effective communication skills and the ability to follow up with prospects are key attributes to be successful in our sales environment. As an Outdoor Design Specialist you will educate consumers on why our products and services are the best in the industry and help design backyard dreams for clients.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to follow a proven sales path to maximize opportunities.
  • Maintain and nurture existing client relationships.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through text, phone, video, email and social media.
  • Lead follow up and management in our Customer Relationship Management software.
  • Responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Understand and communicate information regarding company products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Has the ability to learn and maintain thorough product knowledge.
  • Write and communicate contract terms and sales agreements with accuracy and integrity.
  • Ensure that all required paperwork and electronic updates are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Able to process customer finance options and handle large cash transactions.
  • Able to work weekdays, weekends and Holidays.

This position will train under and report directly to Owner and Sales Manager.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years experience in “big ticket” sales with a proven track record of success. A background in home improvement, project management, and/or construction is preferred but not required if additional crossover skills are demonstrable.

Compensation ranges from $75k - $185k+ for this position based on previous experience and your ability to:

  • Maximize every opportunity for sales when customers visit/call store
  • Enthusiastically educate customers on the latest pool and spa technology we have to offer and generate sales
  • Keep record of prospects and sales to know and improve conversion rate
  • Identify opportunities for generating leads via market outreach and social media
  • Manage inbound lead activity generated by the company into qualified leads using our CRM. We have tons of these we can’t even get to without you!
  • Initiate, execute and further the communication cycle via email, website, phone and in-home appointments to turn leads into qualified proposals
  • Demonstrate professional, effective written and verbal skills
  • Study vendor supplied product information to make sales in pools and spas.
  • Demonstrate accuracy in filling out paperwork and entering complete transaction information into our P.O.S. and CRM systems
  • Coordinate with management, service, install, delivery, construction and administrative staff to ensure streamlined follow up and delivery
  • Maximize profitability by establishing value of our superior pricing and products
  • Deliver a genuine, high level customer experience from end to end

Pay: Up to $185,000.00 per year
