Salesforce Assistant for BizDev Research and Email Campaigns
Chicago, IL

We are seeking a part-time Assistant (20 hours/week) to support a high-volume, commercial real estate brokerage team based in Chicago. This Salesforce expert will work with the Managing Director team leader to development new corporate occupancy services business opportunities. Generally, work will be performed from a home office as an independent contractor.

Primary responsibilities involve searching databases to identify prospective client contact information, entering Salesforce data, and implementing targeted business development email campaigns. This includes:

  • Researching size, location, business and occupancy information using company websites, Zoom Info, InsideView or similar databases.
  • Identifying corporate officers or decision-makers who influence real estate strategies.
  • Entering contacts into Salesforce in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Emailing targeted prospect lists on a regular and continuing basis using Outreach contact software, tracking results and adjusting campaigns as requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Communications - Strong verbal and written communication skills required; must be able to articulate issues, raise questions, seek solutions, and provide ongoing input to team leader. Strong proofreading and editing abilities essential.
  • Multi-tasking - Strong ability to perform multiple tasks with several, simultaneous projects and deadlines without continuous supervision.
  • Analysis - Must be intuitive, creative and accurate in collecting qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Integrity - Impeccable character and honesty in working relationships is essential.

Education and Experience

  • 5 years experience with Excel and Salesforce software required; experience with Outreach preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent academic credentials and professional references preferred.
  • Commercial real estate lead generation and business development experience desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
