Chattanooga Sawmill is a growing business operating a sawmill service in the Chattanooga area, and seeking a motivated and hardworking applicant for Sawyer.

Any type of woodworking, sawmill, chainsaw, or heavy equipment experience is a plus. However, no experience is needed- just a willingness to show up on time and learn. As your competency increases, so will your pay!

Starting pay is $18-20 per hr based on experience.

As a sawyer, you will become an expert in sawmill operation, and assist with dry kiln operation.

Qualifications:

Willing and able to lift and stack large amounts of hardwood lumber.

Able to follow instructions regarding safety procedures
Able to communicate with customers
Desire to learn

Typical Schedule:
* 8 hour shift (for full time)
