JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for an IT Support Technician to join one of our clients in Key West, FL. This candidate is responsible for administration, maintenance, and cybersecurity defense on our client's networks, servers, and infrastructure that is used to support enterprise-wide modeling and simulation applications and services . The candidate will work in close coordination with other team members and departments to update, monitor and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices used throughout the enterprise. Additional duties include performing Microsoft Windows client/server administration, maintenance, patching, and configuring systems in compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG). This individual must be able to work independently and work within a team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Active secret clearance
• Associates degree in Computer Information Systems or related discipline.
• Typically requires 3-4 years of related experience
• Active Directory experience (setting up accounts, locking accounts, troubleshooting)
• VMware knowledge
• Windows desktop operating systems (WIN10 SHB)
• Experience with Cisco switching/troubleshooting connectivity issues
• Experience digesting and implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
• Experience with patching Microsoft servers and workstations
• Experience with network and performance monitoring tools (SolarWinds, etc.)
• Security+ or equivalent certification

DESIRED SKILLS

• Use of Enterprise Patching systems preferred
• Linux+/Microsoft/Cisco certification preferred
• Linux experience
