The Role

Our client is seeking a software engineer with experience building secured applications who helps them ensure our solutions meet our customers’ security requirements for use in both public and private environments. A successful candidate will also help design and develop new features and tools to support secure service delivery by our team of solutions engineers.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • Experience using OAuth 2.0 to secure new and existing service-to-service communications
  • Experience using SAML to support single sign-on
  • Programming experience with Python and at least one other modern language such as JavaScript, Java, or C#
  • Experience building, documenting, and using authenticated APIs (RESTful, XML, JSON)
  • Experience with using SQL to generate backend output for APIs
  • Experience using React.js and doing full-stack, single-page application development
  • Experience styling web applications with CSS and toolkits (e.g., Bootstrap)
  • Experience deploying software to cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Must be curious in the face of ambiguity and able to develop prototypes and experiments en route to or in search of a final solution
  • Track record of learning new technologies quickly
  • Ability to listen well, gather solution requirements and translate those requirements into effective designs
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, and deliver working solutions on time
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred/Bonus Qualifications

  • Knowledge of healthcare standards like FHIR and Epic services
  • Experience in setting up webhook frameworks for event-driven communications
  • Contact center industry experience, preferably in the healthcare space
  • Experience building integrations across CRM and other contact center solutions
