Responsibilities

· Provides excellent customer service

· Secures sites and personnel by patrolling property:

o Monitor buildings and amenities

o Surveillance Equipment

o Surveillance access points

· Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances

· Prevents losses and damage by reporting:

o Irregularities

o informing violators of policies

o provides CT’s to trespassers

o monitors premises for any violence or infractions

· Preserves order and able to identify and resolve any situation

· Reports any facility issues

· Completes reports by reporting observations and activities

Required Job Qualifications

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Current/valid Georgia Driver’s License and an insurable driving history

· Reliable transportation

· Must be able to pass drug screening

· Able to meet required certifications and/or licensing requirements for Armed Security Guard before end of probationary period

· Conduct duties in a safe and timely manner

· Complete end of shift reports

Other Qualifications

· One-year security experience, military, or law enforcement-a plus

· Ability to speak, read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.

· Possesses writing skills to complete daily, incident, accident, and investigative reports.

· Public relations skills necessary to communicate effectively in a courteous, professional, and tactful manner.

· Must be able to accept responsibility, manage authority and maintain confidentiality of information.

· Ability to function independent of constant supervision and exercise physical and emotional restraint under stressful conditions.
