One of our leading manufacturing clients in the East Aurora location is in search of an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to join their team. Expected starting base salary $39 to $42 per hour.

Job Description:

• Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Month-end close management including accruals and financial statement analysis
• Prepare and analyze internal financial statements ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Responsible for timely monthly close process including preparation of journal entries, validation of balances in accordance with company policies.
• Scheduling of month end jobs in SAP and reconciliations of
  WMS (warehouse management systems) to SAP.
• Daily activities and management of costing requests from business partners.
• Creating and settling internal orders.
• Various freight analyses and reporting.
• Support Staff Accountant with A/R and A/P entries, schedules, and payments as needed
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects as needed

• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Able to adapt to changing priorities
