Role Description:

The Senior Financial Analyst will independently and proactively analyze financial information and develop solutions to support the Company’s goals and objectives. The Senior Financial Analyst will create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and will ensure financial information has been recorded accurately. This role also acts as the finance liaison to support cross-functional business partners.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pro-actively gather, review, analyze, and monitor financial and operational results to understand and report underlying causes for business performance and variance and identify emerging issues and opportunities
• Analyze complex financial data and summarize findings in reports for distribution to a wide range of recipients
• Make recommendations to Finance and functional management based on data gathering and analysis regarding business needs, both short- and long-term
• Maintain the Company’s financial forecast and complete recurring variance analysis
• Assist in preparing monthly reporting and quarterly board package
• Complete monthly billing tasks, audits, and analysis
• Assist with annual budget planning and analysis
• Work with cross-functional partners to develop systematic ways to collect data to monitor business activity
• Maintain a consistent meeting cadence between key leaders and cross-functional business partners
• Develop financial proformas and value propositions. Provide continued measurement of actual performance against budgets and other measures, as appropriate.
• Create other ad hoc informational queries or reports as necessary

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong PC skills utilizing Microsoft analytical tools including spreadsheet, database, and visualization applications
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills
• Detail oriented with a strong ability to multi-task
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.
• Flexible, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
