EXPERIENCE
ROLE:
The Senior Fundraising Associate is charged with supporting all aspects of the organization's fundraising activities in order to meet goals set forth in Community First Fund’s Strategic Plan and Annual Capitalization Plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Execute activities outlined in the annual Capitalization Plan, for Community First Fund’s Family of Companies as directed.
2. Execute all aspects of investor activity and donor stewardship for Community First Fund’s Family of Companies.
3. Research new funding opportunities for Community First Fund’s Family of Companies.
4. Support department activities.

EXPECTATIONS:
1. Execute activities outlined in the annual Capitalization Plan for Community First Fund’s Family of Companies, as directed.
a. Execute planned fundraising campaigns and initiatives as guided by the Development Director and Development Committee.
b. Assist with grant proposal development as needed.
2. Execute all aspects of investor activity and donor stewardship for Community First Fund’s Family of Companies.
Grow and cultivate relationships with local, regional and national community stakeholders, foundations and corporations; supports the funder relationship management processes as directed.
b. Collaborate with other staff members to execute the Extraordinary Give, Give Local York and other local initiatives.
c. Execute funder appeals as outlined in the annual Development Capitalization Plan.
Onboard new funds per department protocol including tracking within our CRM systems, interdepartmental communication and funder acknowledgment.
Create and manage a pipeline of individual donors to cultivate, solicit, and steward throughout the year.
3. Research new funding opportunities for Community First Fund’s Family of Companies
a. Utilize online resources as well as development-focused networking to identify and qualify new funding opportunities for Community First Fund’s Loan Fund and/or the credit union.
b. Monitor various channels to track new and historic funding opportunities to take note of funding forecasts, Notices of Funding Availability, and other funding announcements.
4. Support department activities.
a. Ensure accurate and timely updates to the organizational database system for effective stewardship of grant, donor, investor relationships and internal reporting and monitoring purposes.
Generate reports, as directed.
Support corporate meetings including creation and distribution of all meeting materials, as assigned.
d. Support the logistics of the department.
