NEUMAN & ESSER- Katy Production Company/Stasskol USA-Katy, TX is hiring for Senior Quality Control Technician to ensure the quality of new compressor components, provide technical and hands-on support to repair coordinator and interface with logistics, procurement, vendors and manufacturing support team.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out the Quality Inspection of in house manufactured & vendor supplied compressor parts to ensure they meet defined quality requirements.
• Maintain and be responsible for Documentation System of inspection protocols. Implement improvements if necessary or required.
• Inspection of all new and repaired parts.
• Records and maintains quality records as required by the Company quality procedure / standards.
• Performs First Piece, Work in Process, Final, Visual and final inspections utilizing hand tools, and CMM.
• Maintain and be responsible for condition and calibration of high precision tools. Be responsible for the Inspection Area to keep all inspection tools intact and organized. Maintain tools inventory.
• Report NCR (Non-Conformity of Product) in case of Deviation and handle the NCR Process together with Manufacturing Support team.
• Provide hands-on support to the Repair Coordinator in Repair Projects

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Experience & Expectations:

• Understand & read detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Knowledge of BS, DIN, EN, ISO standards.
• Experience of using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• NDT (nondestructive test) capabilities are beneficial.
• Technical knowledge and experience with reciprocating compressor is advantageous.
• Must be highly organized, able to multi-task and manage projects. Self-starter.
• Must have humility, know your own limitations, and not hesitate to ask for assistance when needed.
• Strive for continuous improvement in all activities.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Proficient in the use of all handheld measuring equipment.

Requirement:

• Associates Degree in a technical field.
• Knowledge of CMM equipment & software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft CRM Dynamics and SharePoint is helpful.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience.
