Senior Sales Consultant - Technology & Electronic Monitoring

The Senior Sales Consultant will work to continue to expand Corrisoft’s footprint across the US western region with the primary purpose to increase the company’s visibility in Electronic Monitoring/Court Services market. The Senior Sales Consultant is primarily responsible for generating and converting new opportunities, using Corrisoft’s innovative suite of products. The scope includes entities who are currently working in the corrections and court services space, Federal & State government providers, and agencies. This individual will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

  • To generate new business for Corrisoft through systematic prospecting of leads within a defined territory.
  • Identify, qualify, negotiate and close resellers who align with Corrisoft products/services and mission within a designated region.
  • Work collaboratively with the Corrisoft Team to respond to contract opportunities.
  • Clearly and effectively work with Leads to demonstrate Corrisoft’s value proposition through in-person, over the phone, and webinar presentations.
  • Identify and attend trade shows that are in alignment with Corrisoft’s customer base.
  • Utilize his/her network, existing book of business, marketing initiatives, and current customers to identify new referrals and opportunities to identify gaps in the Rehabilitation process that Corrisoft’s solutions can solve.
  • Responsible for all activity in assigned and prospective accounts, including existing accounts as well.
  • To actively participate with Marketing in lead generation ideas and activities.
  • To study and report key market and/or industry trends that support revenue generation activities to Marketing and Corrisoft management.
  • To study and report on the competition’s products, services, pricing and positioning.
  • Work with prospect and Corrisoft management to execute contract closure.
  • Works with the customer during the initial implementation phase and transitions the customer to the Corrisoft Account Services team once the customer rolls in to production.
  • Maintains the highest level of consistent communication with new and existing customers regarding product and service launches and client satisfaction.
  • Cooperatively work with the Account Services Representative to conduct ongoing business reviews with customers to ensure clients needs are being met.
  • Ability to execute all sales activities independently, as appropriate. From trade show discussions, to meetings with all levels of the customer hierarchy, to performing solution demonstrations and running any other “pilots”. The SSC needs to be self-reliant, knowledgeable, and resourceful.
  • Follows Corrisoft policies and procedures regarding prospect and customer information and contact requirements (i.e CRM, Trip Reports).
  • Prioritizes opportunities with greatest potential for success.

  • Position Requirements

Education required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university
  • Prior selling into local and state government agencies; the corrections industry preferred
  • Existing book of business/relationships in the court/corrections space preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in a technology sales role is preferred.

Communication & People Skills:

  • Ability to engage with prospects, understand their pain points and challenges, and find areas where Corrisoft can provide solutions.
  • Ability to qualify prospect opportunities in order to decide if further investment in time is warranted.
  • Ability to effectively present solutions and respond to questions from prospects, customers, and the general public.
  • Proficient at learning new technology and the ability to effectively demonstrate it in a Sales setting.
  • A practical, adaptable, innovative, collaborative, and solution-focused approach to issues.
  • Strong ability to be self-directed regarding learning and discovery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and research, planning/scheduling abilities.
  • Excellent computer skills, comfort with technology, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Other:

  • 50-75% travel required. This role may require occasional travel to the headquarter office located in Lexington, KY.
  • Travel will be required through a specified territory through-out several states.
  • This role will be considered a hybrid-remote position.

Pay: $78,331.00 - $91,260.00 per year
