** Multiple Positions Available **


Develops enterprise software solutions in an Agile environment. Develops software using Java, SpringBoot/Spring, Groovy/Grails, Typescript, Angular, Node.js and SQL/Oracle. Builds and deploys software applications using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) tools – Jenkins and Maven. Provides business solutions by developing distributed, highly scalable, and fault-tolerant software applications.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

  • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

  • Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

  • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

  • Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

  • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.

  • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

  • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

  • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

  • Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.


Education and Experience:


Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience developing and maintaining financial trade software products and services to process term-loans data in a distributed event-driven architecture and agile environment.


Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience developing and maintaining financial trade software products and services to process term-loans data in a distributed event-driven architecture and agile environment.


Skills and Knowledge:


Candidate must also possess:


  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing distributed Cloud applications, using Amazon Web Services (AWS); designing and developing responsive single-page client applications (SPA), using Angular; and developing elastic, resilient, and fault tolerant Microservices in Java, using SpringBoot.

  • DE deploying enterprise applications to virtual servers in the Cloud (Amazon EC2), using Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools – Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and Kubernetes; processing database schema changes, using Datical; and streaming to and monitoring application logs in Datadog.

  • DE developing unit tests using Mocking Frameworks (Mockito) for RESTful services in Java, and for application frontends, using Karma and Jasmine; and automating end to end (E2E), Regression and Integration test suites, using Cypress.

  • DE developing message-oriented middleware (MOM), using ActiveMQ; implementing Data Access layer, using Spring Data JPA; analyzing and maintaining legacy software in Groovy/Grails; and configuring batch solutions using Control-M.
