SERVER/SERVER CAPTAIN

Live and work on the beach! Private Fire Island Fine Dining restaurant seeks full-time server to join our close-knit team and community.

We are currently looking for full-time Servers and a Server Captain at our upscale Private Club on Fire Island with knowledge of fine dinning steps of service, a passion for quality costumer service and great communication skills. Minimum two years in fine dining restaurants and a valid alcohol training certificate is required. Private Club, Resort or seasonal experience a plus.

The Server in this position must be capable of delivering exceptional service in a unique environment with good interpersonal and communication skills. Responsible for following and leading serving staff in steps of service set by the General Manager, keeping track of all guests tabs through the POS system, and maintaining neat and organized stations. Wine knowledge is a plus.

Ability to lead with kindness and by example, take direction and complete the tasks that are required, has good written and oral communication skills.

Additional requirements include: Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 60 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 60 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
