Singing Beach Club is a seasonal Private Social Dining Club located on Singing Beach in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts. We offer meal services daily and access to Singing Beach with locker room facilities available to Members and their guests. Meal services to our Membership feature snack bar, indoor/outdoor casual and fine dining, events, and functions. We open to our Members Memorial Day weekend and close Columbus Day weekend.

Essential Job Functions

• Ideal candidates are individuals that possess a sincere passion for food, wine, beers and most importantly – in generating exceptional Member experiences.
• Understanding demands of industry/position.
• A reasonable knowledge of food, beers, cocktails, and wines.
• A positive attitude.
• An impeccable work ethic.
• Responsible Alcohol Service Training, Allergy Awareness, Choke Saver, CPR training, Fire/Crowd Control Management - a plus but not mandatory. Opportunity to fulfill training on site.
• Additional position functions/duties will be provided to eligible and serious candidates.

Work Environment

• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching.
• Group and Solo work.
• Clean and maintain stations in practicing good safety and sanitation
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adhere to all sanitation and food codes

This Job Is

• Open to applicants under 18 years old, provided it is legally allowed for the job and location
• Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED
• A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more
• Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma
• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous food service, hospitality experience or equivalent, training not required.
