Job Summary

Responsible for developing and testing solutions to solve technical problems in research and development, manufacturing, and maintenance. Assists engineers, inspects products, conducts tests, and collects data, assist in facility and equipment maintenance when required.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create solutions to complex technical problems in a variety of manufacturing areas.
• Assist engineers as they create, modify, and test products and processes.
• Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify areas of improvement.
• Conduct tests and collect data.
• Assist in product design, development, and production support.
• Prepare and conduct experiments.
• Calculate or record results during experiments.
• Using Diagnostic tools to identify technical issues.
• Repairing defective or worn-out equipment, sourcing necessary replacement parts as needed.
• Maintain and enhance your technical and mechanical skill set.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Basic skills and Qualifications

· High school/vocational school diploma or GED certificate.

· Associate degree, prior job experience, or a technical certification is preferred

· The ability to work independently as well as in a team format.

· Technical and mechanical problem-solving skills.

· Working knowledge of basic hand and machine tools.

· Familiar with standard computer operation and Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to communicate well in written and verbal communications.
• Soft Skills including a positive attitude, flexibility, working well within a team environment, and being self-motivated.
• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
