Job Description:

Seeking Lead /Senior ServiceNow Developer that will be responsible for the design and implementation of technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform to satisfy the business needs of the IT department and the Organization. The ideal candidate is a technical expert in ServiceNow and takes pride in designing best in class solutions that push the boundaries of platform capability. Understanding best practice configuration principles within ServiceNow and have an adept understanding of the delicate balance between configuration and customization and the risks posed to the platform are critical for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and guidance to ServiceNow development team.
• Configure and develop ITSM, SPM & other modules in ServiceNow platform with minimal oversight.
• Lead the effort to establish and leverage ServiceNow as the enterprise wide no-code/low-code platform.
• Ensure the platform is architected and used with out of the box features and configurations, avoiding or minimizing customizations.
• Create technical documentation describing solutions developed.
• Support developers of 3rd party systems in integrating external systems to ServiceNow.
• Support the definition of best practices and standards across the development team.
• Collaborates with Business Analysts and others across IT to better understand the business need and propose options where possible.
• Ensure requirements are clearly documented with the correct attributes, product assignment, and tracked throughout their lifecycle.
• Provide input to the Project Manager to support effort estimation and support prioritization.
• Support the planning, preparation, and execution of ServiceNow releases.
• Support transition to production.
• Help evaluate new ServiceNow releases and determine the business value provided

Mandatory Skills:

• ServiceNow Certifications a must
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile development

Preferred Skills:

• 8-10 years of experience working in a waterfall and agile development.
• 8-10 years of experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, Service Portal, and Custom Application Development.
• Ability to work individually or with a team.
• CSA, CAD, CIS ITSM, CIS ITOM, or CTA preferred certifications.
• Experience supporting the customization, administration, and configuration of the ServiceNow tool.
• Experience with documentation software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Jira, PowerPoint, Visio, Nawia).
• Experience with HTM L5, CSS, AngularJS, JavaScript, Web Services, PowerShell, Shell Script, Jelly, and Glide APIs.
• Configuration/customization experience on various ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and Core ServiceNow platform capabilities.
• Experience with Automated testing Framework and Guided Tour Designer.
• Experienced with databases from SQL to NoSQL databases tools.
• Experience with Rome or current releases.
• Experience with BACCM.
• Hands on experience building and using APIs in the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience with RDBMS tools and data modeling.
• Experience with Discovery, Orchestration, Service Mapping tools in ServiceNow platform.
• Prior experience with integrating ServiceNow to other applications and ability to adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications and the ability to convert them to technical specifications.
• Work with staff with varying skillsets and ability to coach, manage their time accordingly, and maintain good working relationship.
• Strong communications skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in plain language.
• Experience working in a large government agency
• Working knowledge of ITIL Foundations concepts

Additional Option:

Hybrid option: 3-Days Onsite in New York, NY and 2-Days Remote

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
