We are looking for a Software and Applications Manager to join our IT Team and take over the business analysis, implementation, integration, and supervision of our business applications. The responsibilities of the software and applications manager include identifying the best applications for the business's needs, implementing, integrating, supporting, enhancing, upgrading, and repairing the software as needed.

To be successful in this role you should have a strong working knowledge of business analysis, application development and administration, as well as expertise with application troubleshooting, excellent technical project management and collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adhere to deadlines.

Software and Applications Manager Responsibilities:

· Analyze business operations and the business's computer systems, and with business leader’s input determine which software applications or enhancements can improve operations.

· Make recommendations on whether to upgrade the existing systems or install new ones.

· Leading teams of application specialists in application support, implementations, integrations, and upgrades.

· Engaging Team to fulfill business and employee goals.

· Manage the roll-out of new software applications to ensure there are no problems.

· Troubleshoot and resolve any problems with business application software.

· Develop and maintain system data integrity and ensure availability.

· Create and oversee protocols and procedures for the use of any new software applications.

· Create, execute, and maintain company databases, reporting and business intelligence systems.

· Overseeing training of employees on the use of any new software applications.

· Maintain a good work atmosphere.

· Maintain up to date knowledge of the latest business-related software.

Software and Applications Manager Requirements:

· 10 years of experience including business analysis, software development, support, and management.

· A bachelor's degree in programming, computer science, or a related field.

· Experience working as a business analyst or application developer.

· Broad working knowledge of computer networking, installation, and administration.

· Experience with database management and project management.

· Excellent collaboration and technical skills.

· The ability to remain up to date with the latest software.

· Strong leadership, management, and customer service skills.

· Great analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· The ability to handle deadlines and stressful situations.
